Like Monet, I need flowers all day, every day! And creating flower arrangements is surprisingly so de-stressing. Grocery stores like my favorite Trader Joe’s make it easy for us to have access to beautiful blooms year-round. Here’s a three-layer arrangement I created for Valentine’s Day with 4 flowers and greens I picked up at Trader Joe’s. You’ll need: bunch of deep red spray roses bunch of purple lilies bunch of cream alstroemeria bunch of eucalyptus greens flower shears or sharp scissors vase (mine is about 6″ tall with a 4″ wide opening) large bucket if you want to feel like a pro and have all your flowers on hand First, you will… Keep Reading
Is there a gal in your life you’d like to give something special to for Galentine’s Day? Here is an oh-so-girly DIY gift basket idea you could do! So a favorite at my shows this year has been my wrapped presents to display my tags, particularly this paper! Want to know a secret? It’s paintable wallpaper from Lowe’s! I’ve been using this stuff for all sorts of projects, but it makes for a beautifully wrapped present! To make it Christmas-y, I ✔️added some touches of gold paint to the paper ✔️topped it with some fluffy snow ✔️tied it with luscious green velvet ribbon ✔️and adorned it with a crystal ornament. Wrapping for a special gift indeed!
Mini pumpkins are so cute. Especially the white ones. If you are looking for an easy way to add some cuteness to your fall wedding decor, this little project is just what you need. Then keep tying bows all the way around the stem. Shimmy, fluff, and trim the ends of the bows to your liking. I think these would look great in a group using a variety of ribbon… Keep Reading
