I knew the whole Spring at the Silos event at Magnolia Market in Texas was going to be incredible, but it was even better than I thought, and for that I am so so so grateful. The weather was beautiful, I met so many dream customers, and Joanna Gaines herself came as a customer to my booth and purchased a rose wreath! Enjoy some of my favorite pics here! The team at Magnolia is definitely detail-oriented. It was seen in the way they organized the event and even decorated! Morning calm before this place is literally filled with people! 1,106 View from my booth on Webster Ave in Waco. I got… Keep Reading
I always thought that I was never good enough draw. Anything. Because I couldn’t create these incredible life-like pieces with so much detail and talent like real artists do, I shouldn’t even draw at all. But my creative courage has grown as the years have past, and I decided one day last year to draw a simple illustration I could use in my product design. Florals are my favorite, so I started with a hydrangea design. Sharpie and some computer paper was my medium of choice. Without overthinking, I just started drawing a simple design. Keyword here is simple. And within a few minutes, I had my own hand-drawn hydrangea…. Keep Reading
SO excited to share that I have been invited to be a vendor at the Magnolia Spring at the Silos event March 16-18! And I’m making special magnolia hangings for the event! Traveling with hubby + selling at Magnolia + visiting my brother in Dallas = blessed. You can find me in my craft room until then.
Friends, I’m so excited to share with you this shopping event I’m hosting with my friend and business bestie Julie Miele. There’s plenty of hustle and bustle Christmas shopping around the CLE, so we wanted to create something a little slower, more intimate, and of course classy. On December 3rd, come to the suburbs to shop artisan goods from 6 local vendors including home decor, bath products, knitwear, paper goods, and vintage findings & upcycle. And there will also be a fun DIY flower bar and complimentary appetizers and beverages! Stop over at A Refined Affair’s page and share with your people. So looking forward to seeing you there!
The shop will be put on pause until 10/3 because I’m off to the beach for some R&R. My husband and I will first be making a couple day stop in Williamsburg, VA on our way to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Looking forward to soaking in a last little bit of sun and boogie boarding! Orders will begin shipping again on 10/3. I will be popping in once in awhile to check emails, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you need anything. Thanks, and talk to you soon!
I am so happy to announce that I have been accepted as a vendor at Renegade Craft Fair’s holiday market November 14 & 15 in New York City! I have been considering apply for this show for years now. The encouragement of a friend to apply on the last day of accepting applications gave me just enough guts to apply for the first time this month. I am so glad I did and am thankful for this amazing opportunity. Looking forward to sharing my art in the big city!
